A Barista’s Drink Guide for Every Mood
It’s so common for college students to get in their daily routine. I mean, how can you blame us? We have the same classes, in the same buildings, with the same professors week after week. This routine holds true not just for classes and daily to-do's but for what we eat for lunch, what our daily snack is, and yes, what we order as our pick me up at your fav coffee shop.
A Day in the Life of a Sorority President
She’s the one of the first people you meet when you go through sorority recruitment and visited your house, she welcomed you home at Bid Day and handles everything in between. That’s right. We’re talking sorority Chapter Presidents. What it's like to be a sorority president is something that every member wonders about at least once or twice, so Her Campus at the University of Utah set out to solve the mystery by interviewing Alpha Chi Omega’s outgoing 2016 Chapter President, Sara Shreeve.
Annie Ricks: Multitalented Sensation
Annie Ricks, a sophomore at the University of Utah, has many talents that make her one of the most interesting women around. She is passionate about makeup, fashion, travelling and going to concerts, all while being a Chi Omega and trying to find out what major would fit best her. You Are Allowed to be Disappointed
With social media and everyone’s highlight reel of their life on full blast, it can be hard to admit not being happy with a situation or a season of your life. I can think of countless times where I have put on a fake smile when I was let down by something and spun it into a positive.
Alpha Chi Omega is Walking Out on Domestic Violence - In Style
This weekend, Alpha Chi Omega is living up to their commitment of spreading prevention and awareness for domestic violence, their national philanthropy. Why Being Obsessed with Instagram Doesn't Make You Shallow
When Instagram first became popular at my Jr. High and I reluctantly made an account, it was a very different experience than what Instagram has become now. I followed only my close friends and the pictures in my feed varied from awkward pictures with lockers in the back, to images of snowies or whatever snack my friends or I indulged in that week that for some reason, we thought we could take a “artsy” picture of.
Sisters First by Blood, Now by Bond
Like many college women, when I received my bid to my sorority, I fell in love with the sisterhood and with the Greek Community in general. A couple months in, I knew Greek Life was something that I wanted for my sisters and I started bugging them about needing to go through recruitment when they were freshmen the next year. Finally, this fall they both (yes, I have twin sisters) went through recruitment.
Kappa Kappa Gamma is All About Supporting Good Causes
We all know that one of the main things sororities advertise is that they are service and philanthropy orientated, but what does that really mean? Are they really doing all the things that they say they are during recruitment? Her Campus went to the Delta Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma to find out more about their philanthropy and what service means to them. Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Utah supports three main philanthropies.

The Homebody That Loves to Travel
Like many college students, I love to travel and live outside of my state. I love getting to see new places, trying new foods and meeting new people. On the flip side of that though, I also consider myself a homebody, and leaving can be extremely challenging for me. I like to be comfortable, I don’t like leaving my friends and family, and I love my hometown. These two things constantly bring tension to my life and create challenges every step of the way.
