Maile Pingel’s Biography
Maile Pingel holds an M.Phil in design history from the University of Glasgow and was a researcher in the Decorative Arts department at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art before taking the post of Research Editor at Architectural Digest. She has contributed to a number of scholarly publications and is the co-author of the late Paige Rense's book Architectural Digest: Autobiography of a Magazine, 1920-2010. She is currently a freelance journalist for a number of lifestyle publications, including Angeleno and Luxe magazines.
