Abstract Multi-modal, multiscale imaging is crucial for quantitative high-content spatial profiling. We present an integrated image processing pipeline for comprehensive tissue analysis that combines quantitative phase microscopy for tissue architecture mapping, hyper-plex fluorescence imaging for immune microenvironment profiling, and whole-slide histopathology.
Abstract The mesoscope has emerged as a powerful imaging tool in biomedical research, yet its high cost and low resolution have limited its broader application. Here, we introduce the Omni-Mesoscope, a cost-effective high-spatial-temporal, multimodal, and multiplex mesoscopic imaging platform built from cost-efficient off-the-shelf components.
1. Introduction Optical imaging is widely used in life sciences and preclinical research and in clinical applications1,2 but is limited by intense light scattering in tissues, which results in a shallow penetration depth.3 Photoacoustic tomography (PAT) overcomes the depth limitation of optical imaging in tissues using acoustic detection of optical absorption.
