From the neighborhood of Guinardó, in the city of Barcelona. Studied History and Journalism, which probably gives an idea of her interest in people. She was the singer and bassist of two punk rock bands when youtube didn't exist yet. Their terrible names were, respectively, A saco and Las Vegas Crypt.
She has worked for many years in Doctors Without Borders reporting on different humanitarian crises in Somalia, Sudan, Guatemala, Cambodia, Colombia or Ethiopia, among other countries. She was coordinator of the documentary Invisibles (Goya Award for best documentary in 2008), produced by Javier Bardem, and directed by Mariano Barroso, Isabel Coixet, Wim Wenders, Javier Corcuera and Fernando León de Aranoa.
She worked for a while at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelon (CCCB) as Director of Communication. She writes for El País, JotDown cultural mag, 5W magazine and Altaïr mag. She also collaborates in Pla de Barris, a social program to fight against inequalities of the Barcelona City Council in the most vulnerable neighborhoods of the city.
