What was your first job as a journalist?
At the first portuguese news radio, TSF: they put a heavy voice recorder on my shoulder and send me out for hunting stories.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
It all started with a typewriter!... and yes, I still have it and sometimes use it.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being able to do what you love, amplifying other's voices, ideas and work, reaching high by being meanful and compromised with stories.
What's your favorite social network?
I truly believe that each of them achieve all their potential when combined with others. I'm an entusiastic user of this variety.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
All that was worth telling and that no one before had dared to do so.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Globetrotting... out there... with my ears and eyes wide open: wherever there's a chance of the story to find me or myself to trip over it.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
I would say the myth that culture and environment do not move the world.
