What was your first job as a journalist?
I worked at Mashable, DuJour, and Domino Magazine as an intern. My first full-time job out of college was at Mic.com as a social editor.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No, and I truly don't think I'll ever get the chance.

Via email, never DMs.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Cold emailing works.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
