(PDF ) DOI: 10.26509/frbc-ec-202115 In March 2020, in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, many were concerned about the liquidity of nonbank mortgage servicers. As it turned out, the vast majority of these servicers did not face a liquidity crisis.

Faulty Hikvision Fever Camera Deployments Spread In UK Healthcare Facilities
Faulty Hikvision fever screening systems are spreading despite prominent UK experts in government and academia criticizing fever cams as 'more marketing than medicine' and recommending they not be purchased. In this post, we examine why these systems risk public health, especially with COVID-19 cases in the UK (and Europe generally) are soaring.
Opinion: Don’t let other health care issues slide during pandemic
Norman J. Beauchamp Jr., Marschall S. Runge and Mark Schweitzer Published 10:51 p.m. ET July 15, 2020 As we’ve watched our state battle to reduce the toll of COVID-19 on Michigan residents, we’ve understood — and supported — the sense of caution that has kept people home rather than visiting their doctors or going to the hospital if they think they need medical help. But as health care specialists trained as medical doctors, we also know the risks of getting medical attention too late.

Vintage Structures | The Merrill House & Wesley Temple A.M.E. Zion Church
When people talk of Akron’s history as a leading producer of clay products, most thoughts turn to Byron Robinson, whose house was profiled in the May issue. Another leader in the industry was Edwin H. Merrill, who started out in Mogadore as a pottery works helper in 1830 and ended up buying out his employer just three years later.
The Great Gamble
For over half a century, Akron, Ohio proudly wore the moniker of Rubber Capital of The World. As corporate and manufacturing home to Goodyear, Firestone, B.F. Goodrich, General Tire and many other tire manufacturers, the city boomed as America fell in love with the automobile. For decades, its citizens took solace in the fact that the soot that settled over its neighborhoods each day was the by-product of the rubber industry’s high-wage manufacturing jobs.
