I'm the Director of Public Relations at DealNews. Essentially, I'm a one-man "PR Department" who secures an ongoing stream of publicity to attract readers to DealNews.com.
2013 was my most successful year-to-date: I secured 1.68 million earned online referrals visits (which was a 30% increase year-over-year) and 86.37 million earned television viewers, which included 43 national and 2,500+ local television segments.
I'm also a company spokesperson; I secured and coordinated nearly 100 media interviews for myself in 2013. My wonderful colleagues handled the other ~83 interviews. I'm quoted in numerous online articles and appeared in 50+ television segments throughout the year.
