Bill pay in 2026: The future is invisible, instant, and uninterrupted
Why “never miss a payment” is the new mandate Bill pay is entering a decisive inflection point. Consumers expect instant, secure, and convenient payments; billers expect platforms that never miss a payment, reduce operational friction, and scale with confidence.
Long-term adaptive response of an oceanic diatom to copper deficiency
Introduction Copper quotas (QCu) of phytoplankton are maintained within narrow limits by cellular regulatory processes even as environmental concentrations vary by orders of magnitude (Sunda and Huntsman, 1995; Page et al., 2009). The quotas are set by the amounts of Cu-redox proteins required in cellular metabolism (Merchant et al., 2006; Kim and Price, 2017; Kong and Price, 2022) and depend upon uptake of Cu from the environment.

Feeder - Rock City, Nottingham 20.11.2019 Live Review
Rock City has a place in a lot of gig goers hearts, it's a special venue. It's hosted some of the biggest bands on the planet and has a natural sort of atmosphere that crowds and bands alike feed off - even if the legendary sticky floors have long gone.
Feeder | Tallulah Album Review | Contactmusic.com
Review of Tallulah Album by Feeder It must make those who have followed these guys from the start feel old, coming to the realisation that Feeder have been going longer than some of their new growing fan base have been born. Only two years ago Feeder were celebrating their 25th anniversary together, the whole thing seems bonkers. The thing is since Feeder came back in 2016 from a four year absence, they haven't come back trying to change the wheel.
Splendour In Nottingham 2019 - Live Review
A sunny Thursday afternoon and we are out and about the Splendour site, looking at what goes on behind the scenes. Anton, the main organiser, explains, "We've really tried hard to put a line-up together where everyone in a family wants to see someone, we really want to maintain that family atmosphere", and with this year's festival selling out, it's clear that the organisers have got it spot on.
Splendour Festival 2019 Preview
Nottingham's biggest music party of the year is lined up and ready to entertain this summer with Splendour at Wollaton Park. Splendour is one of those great festivals that manage to pick up some brilliant acts while remaining such a family friendly place to visit. It's a one-day event where you don't have to pack up your tent, wellies, clothes and the kitchen sink.
Eyre Llew / In The Endless Zanhyang We Are - Carrier Split EP Review
Review of Carrier EP by Eyre Llew After their success with debut album 'Atelo', Eyre Llew have returned - though in a slightly different way, evermore keeping fans on their toes. They've collaborated with Korean shoegaze band In The Endless Zanhyang We Are (with whom they hit it off at the Focus festival in Wales) for a joint EP entitled 'Carrier'; if there was ever a band that deserve to be called hard-working, it's these guys.
Manic Street Preachers | This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours (20 Years Collectors' Edition) Album Review | Contactmusic.com
By 1998, Britpop bands were on the decline yet for the Manic Street Preachers, the creative juices seemed to flow stronger than ever. The Welsh boys released their fifth studio album 'This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours' that year; not your typical Manics record, and one that went a long way in reinventing their sound. Given how unexpected it was, not everyone was sure about this release at the time.
Isle Of Wight Festival 2018 Preview
They say life begins at fifty, and with 2018 being the Isle of Wight Festival's 50th anniversary, we have high hopes for this year's event. It's always a blast, but this year the line-up needs to be particularly special and, thankfully, that's one thing the festival has already delivered on. The beauty of this festival (apart from it being on the Isle of Wight) is how family friendly it is.
Manic Street Preachers | Resistance Is Futile Album Review | Contactmusic.com
Just when you think they've about drifted away into the mist never to return, Manic Street Preachers kick back with another epic album. Unlucky for some, Manic Street Preachers release their thirteenth studio album today - rather appropriately, Friday the 13th. Luckily, 'Resistance Is Futile' is epic enough to avoid the superstition that surrounds it.
Cabbage | Nihilistic Glamour Shots Album Review | Contactmusic.com
It's been a difficult year for the up-and-coming Mossley band Cabbage, make no mistake, but they have been turning things around for 2018 with a string of EPs and now their debut album 'Nihilistic Glamour Shots' is finally here. For the Cabbage faithful this has been a long time coming. Far from being filled with previous EP favourites like 'Kevin' and 'Dinner Lady', they have been writing non-stop to produce a collection of brand new material for their first full-length album.
Feeder - Rock City, Nottingham 16.03.2018 Live Review
Twenty-five years and still going strong, Feeder prove their lasting relevance by showcasing their distinctive back catalogue at Rock City, Nottingham. Following their stellar latest album 'All Big Electric', maybe it is just the right time for a "Best Of" tour, giving them a chance to play a few numbers that you wouldn't normally hear live.
The Boxer Rebellion | Ghost Alive Album Review | Contactmusic.com
It is hard to believe that The Boxer Rebellion have been around for seventeen years, yet album number six is set to drop in the shape of 'Ghost Alive', released on the band's own label. This is said to be their most personal album to date; an album that you could say came off the back of a difficult time for lead singer Nathan Nicholson's family. 'Ghost Alive' is, in short, the band showing their softer, more intimate side.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
While there are a lot of bands that can't stay the distance and keep making great music without splitting up due to musical differences, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are thankfully not one of them. Despite court battles with record labels, they still manage to keep on keeping on doing what they do best. BRMC have just released their eighth studio album 'Wrong Creatures' and, while it's been a long time coming, they prove wrong the cynics that say guitar music is dead. Clearly it is not.
Eyre Llew | Atelo Album Review | Contactmusic.com
Nottingham 3-piece Eyre Llew have been all over gigging non-stop and have just come back from touring with Crosa Rosa in South Korea. But somehow they have managed to find time to self-record their debut album 'Atelo' and now they're ready to unleash it upon the world. Having already released nine singles as well as their expansive touring, Eyre Llew are amassing an ever-growing following and with 'Atelo' they are ready to give something back.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Nottingham's Rock City 03.11.2017 Live Review
It's hard to believe that over 16 years ago Black Rebel Motorcycle Club came to the shores of the UK and supported Oasis at Finsbury Park, instantly making an impact. Every time they've returned, they've left a lasting mark. A true rock 'n' roll band that knows their roots and never step away from that. Tonight, BRMC are back at the venue with the stickiest floors in the UK, Rock City.
Feeder | The Best Of Album Review | Contactmusic.com
Feeder celebrate 21 years of recording this year (2017); 21 years ago since the band came onto the scene with the release of their mini album 'Swim'. As a band they have been together for 25 years which nowadays is almost unheard of. So what better way to celebrate this great milestone than with a 'Best Of' compilation? Feeder can boast 6 studio albums, 3 compilations, 41 EPs and singles, which means Feeder were just spoilt for choice with this anniversary release.
When The Sun Hits
You never know what's going to happen with a side project. When The Sun Hits began as such eight years ago while its members were in their respective bands. Although they had done some work together, the project itself seemed to just get shelved, but as time went by things changed and the guys found themselves back together blowing the dust off what they had already started.
Cabbage | Celebration Of A Disease EP Review | Contactmusic.com
Cabbage are set to release yet another EP - that is, another snippet of their musical madness - entitled 'Celebration Of A Disease', and there are no signs of them turning radio friendly. Nonetheless, their fan base just keeps growing and growing. The title track opens the EP and it only takes the first few chords for you to know it's Cabbage, and it sounds great. They are stamping their sound throughout the UK and this is just another beauty to come from these guys.
Wolf Alice | The Venue, Derby 16.08.2017 Live Review | Contactmusic.com
Wolf Alice have gone through the newcomers stages, they have nailed all their live shows to date and are still getting better each time. Debut album 'My Love Is Cool' was an amazing first record and they really showed Glastonbury what they are made of. All this and their feet are still firmly on the ground, not allowing themselves to be pressured into release another album and yet still not sitting back on what they have achieved so far.
Manic Street Preachers Send Away The Tigers (10 Year Collectors' Edition) Double CD and DVD Review
Manic Street Preachers have been around since the mid 1980's and over the course of those 30+ years they've always managed to find a way to re-invent themselves and keep their music current and relevant. However with this release, the band have taken a different step and offer their ever loyal fans a treat with a collectors' edition (not reissue) of "Send Away The Tigers" to mark its 10 year release.
Los Campesinos | Sick Scenes Album Review | Contactmusic.com
Ever since their debut album ‘Hold On Now, Youngster...’, Los Campesinos! have been a band like no other. Their energy is unmatched, their exciting songs relatable, and their live performance on another level entirely. It felt like nothing could follow that amazing first album, but now on album number 6, ‘Sick Scenes’, they’re going from strength to strength.
Feeder | Renegades (Special Edition Re-issue) Album Review | Contactmusic.com
It seems to be the age of the re-issue, one that Feeder have embraced with their seventh studio album from 2010 'Renegades'. Unlike other album re-issues out there, though, this is not a special anniversary release. The simple fact is that before now you could no longer buy this album either physically or digitally. 'Renegades' is everything that guitar music should be, with Feeder blasting out some amazing riffs and hooks.
Minor Victories | Minor Victories Album Review | Contactmusic.com
Minor Victories is a newly formed supergroup and with it comes very major expectations. Consisting of Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai, Justin Lockey from Editors and Slowdive's Rachel Goswell, the talented trio have now launched their first album through Fat Possum. 'Minor Victories' kicks off 'Give Up The Ghost'; a soaring number with an air of forceful intent that sets the tone for the rest of the record. The sound gets heavier as the album progresses, but always at the same time melodic.
