Keep the “Infra” in AI Infra
The financing market is moving beyond the data centre shell. The real underwriting question is whether compute can support durable, transferable cash flows through technology cycles. A Wall Street signal, not a photo opportunity When Jensen Huang sat down on CNBC with the leaders of six of Wall Street's most powerful alternative asset managers and investment banks, the line-up invited the obvious comparison: the "Avengers of Wall Street". But the significance lay beyond the theatre.
The Energy Nexus: UK Data Centres and Power Strategy
Power decides which UK data centre projects get built. AI and high-performance computing are pushing campus demand into the hundreds of megawatts. Electricity grid capacity is scarce in key UK data centre locations. Connection dates sit at board level. Developers, operators and investors need a power strategy before they commit capital, sign anchor tenants or acquire land.

The Nicene Creed
Authors: Ed. Mark Gilbert and Leonardo De Chirico Publisher: Matthiasmedia 184 pages Purchase from: 10 of Those (£7.82) ‘Same words, different worlds.’ This collection of papers by eleven authors on the Nicene Creed makes one major point: when evangelical Christians and Roman Catholics (RCs) recite the words of the Creed, they do so with very different frameworks of thought. Adherence to the Creed cannot therefore serve as a basis for evangelical and Catholic unity.

1 Introduction The severity and frequency of anthropogenic drought events (Aghakouchak et al. 2021) have been increasingly linked to widespread and disruptive effects on ecosystem carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) cycling (Knapp et al. 2024; Müller and Bahn 2022). Droughts can accelerate the oxidation of soil organic carbon (SOC), increasing soil CO2 emissions to the atmosphere (Dong et al. 2021; Liu et al. 2022; Reinsch et al. 2017).

Prior Reading Lists 2024202320222021202020192018 The Everyby Dave Eggers Rating: 4.0 stars * * * *While this book got not-so-great reviews, I actually enjoyed it. This was a follow-up book to the “Circle”. The end really surprised me, and the prediction about what could possibly happen if society were controlled by bad-idea apps was both entertaining and scary. I thought Delany’s rotation got a bit long and somewhat overdone, and I didn’t like the unbelievable transformation of Wes her friend.
