A contemporary analysis of disease upstaging of Gleason 3 + 3 prostate cancer patients after robot‐assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy
1 BACKGROUND Prostate cancer (PC) is the most common cancer in males in the United Kingdom and each year 1.3 million men are diagnosed worldwide.1, 2 The introduction of ad hoc PSA screening as well as a greater availability of MRI scanners has meant that PC is now being diagnosed at a less advanced stage.3 The PROMIS study demonstrated that using multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) to triage patients prior to biopsy, both improves the detection of clinically significant PC and reduces over diagnosis...

Bright insights into Palladium-triggered local chemotherapy
The incorporation of transition metal catalysts to the bioorthogonal toolbox has opened the possibility of producing supra-stoichiometric amounts of xenobiotics in living systems in a non-enzymatic fashion.
Peri-prostatic Fat Volume Measurement as a Predictive Tool for Castration Resistance in Advanced Prostate Cancer
Obesity and aggressive prostate cancer (PC) may be linked, but how local peri-prostatic fat relates to tumour response following androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) is unknown. To test if peri-prostatic fat volume (PPFV) predicts tumour response to ADT. We performed a retrospective study on consecutive patients receiving primary ADT. From staging pelvic magnetic resonance imaging scans, the PPFV was quantified with OsirixX 6.5 imaging software.
