Mark Daza’s Biography

Mark is a freelance writer and communications professional from the Philippines. He was a fellow of the Indo-Pacific Cooperation Network in 2024-2025, one of the global "Changemakers" by Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2021, a Climate Tracker journalism fellow in 2020, and a Pioneers Post social enterprise journalism fellow in 2016.

Aside from writing Southeast Asia business and enterprise stories for print publications, including the Philippine Daily Inquirer, he has also produced television documentaries on various issues such as human rights, poverty, children's rights and welfare, public health, education, labor and migration, natural disasters, gender equality, and agriculture, among others. He was a media producer, writer, and researcher for ABS-CBN Corporation.

He works as a Communications Editorial Consultant for the Asian Development Bank. Previously, he served as a Project and Communications Manager for the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
