Mark Hand’s Biography

Mark Hand has covered the energy industry for more than 25 years. Hand is former editor-in-chief of Gas Daily, a leading news source for the North American natural gas industry. He managed natural gas editorial operations at Financial Times Energy. He began his career as an energy journalist in 1988 when he covered the natural gas pipeline and offshore drilling sectors. He also has served as a senior editor at McGraw-Hill’s energy news division (now Platts), senior editor at Public Utilities Fortnightly and Washington bureau chief of PRWeek magazine. He also has covered the electric power and natural gas sectors for SNL Energy (now S&P Global).
