Marlon Weems is an opinion journalist and writer focused on the intersection of U.S. politics, the economy, and race. He previously spent more than a decade of his thirty-year career in finance on Wall Street.
He began his writing career as a fintech subject-matter expert, authoring capital markets research for global financial services firms such as Thomson Reuters, FIS, and Charles Schwab.
These days, Marlon works from home on a small island in North Carolina with his wife, two of his four children, and two cats.
