Immunoliposomes in breast cancer drug delivery: utilizing superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles
ABSTRACT Introduction Immunoliposomes (ILs) allow selective interaction with cells by antibodies or their fragments. When associated with superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs), they form immunomagnetoliposomes (IMLs) that enable targeting, drug-release triggers, thermal ablation, and imaging, allowing real-time observation, therapy response, and patient stratification.
Bioadhesive liquid crystal system containing citral: effect against cariogenic biofilm and on dental enamel
Abstract This study evaluated the effects of a bioadhesive liquid crystal system containing citral on cariogenic biofilm and enamel demineralisation. Citral (C) at 10× and 15× the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was incorporated into the formulation (F) (30% oleic acid, 50% alkoxylated cetyl alcohol, and 20% aqueous dispersion of poloxamer 1%), FC1 and FC2, respectively.
Silver complex of 1,10-phenanthroline containing 2-formylpyridine-N(4)-ethylthiosemicarbazone: study of toxicity using alternative methods and microbiological activity against Helicobacter pylori
Helicobacter pylori is associated with gastric disorders, and the increase in bacterial resistance has sparked interest in the search for new antimicrobial compounds. The current study investigated the effect of the silver metal complex [Ag(phen)(PETSC)](NO )∙HCl∙2H O (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline; PETSC = 2-formylpyridine-N(4)-ethyl-thiosemicarbazone), termed the Compound against H. pylori. The antibacterial activity exhibited a minimum inhibitory concentration of 6.25 μg/mL.

Activity of Bacteriophage D29 Loaded on Nanoliposomes against Macrophages Infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis
1. Introduction The latest report from the World Health Organization has shown that Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) is increasingly one step ahead of science since the incidence and infection rates have accelerated remarkably after the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 [1]. High demand for new drugs has sidelined some excellent selective candidates for killing bacteria.
Improving Drug Delivery on Candida Albicans Using Geraniol Nanoemulsion
4. Discussion In this study, nanoemulsions were developed and the main physicochemical parameters were examined. The nanoformulations were kinetically stable, as they did not show gravitational separation []. The sonication method was used because it is effective, allowing better control of droplet size in nanoscale (30–600 nm), which is dependent on operation conditions (time and temperature) and a wide choice of formulation constituents [,,].
Three-dimensional culture models: emerging platforms for screening the antitumoral efficacy of nanomedicines

New Technological Approaches for Dental Caries Treatment: From Liquid Crystalline Systems to Nanocarriers
Abstract : Dental caries is the most common oral disease, with high prevalence rates in adolescents and low-income and lower-middle-income countries. This disease originates from acid production by bacteria, leading to demineralization of the dental enamel and the formation of cavities. The treatment of caries remains a global challenge and the development of effective drug delivery systems is a potential strategy.
