• January 2017 to present: Editor-in-chief of the Vancouver Courier, one of Vancouver's longest established weekly newspapers.

• Spring of 2015 to October 2015: Interim editor of the Bowen Island Undercurrent, the Burnaby NewsLeader and New Westminster NewsLeader.
• May 2014 to May 2015: founding executive director of Glacier Media's crowdfunding platform, FundAid. Helped launch Wear Plaid for Dad, a Prostate Cancer Canada initiative.
• August 2011 to May 2014: Editor of the Westender, a weekly lifestyle newspaper in Vancouver
• November 2009 to August 2011: Editor of the Bowen Island Undercurrent (where I was half of the entire staff of two.)
• September 1985 to November 2009: Reporter and then editor of the Haliburton Echo. As the company grew, I was also editor of the Minden Times, Bancroft This Week and Barry's Bay This Week.
