Managing Developer Stress
Some years ago I was interviewed by Oliver White at ZeroTurnaround about the topic of developer stress. In their brief survey they ascertained the top 5 developers stresses of the time: I wrote back privately to Oliver at the time but thought it would be interesting to rehash the topic here as it covers some of the early Agile thinking at the time and serves as a good reminder.

New Censum Release 2.0.23
We’ve made another round of important fixes and added some exciting new features (namely a Heap to Small analytic and a CPU Time graph). VERSION NUMBERS: You may have noticed that we have jumped to 2.0.23 from 2.0.18. This is due to our release system having churn over a new version number in case of a falied release. Rest assured, you haven’t missed out on anything :-). You can download the latest version from http://download.jclarity.com using your original trial/purchase email address and UUID.

Naming your software and uniqueness
The uniqueness of the name is important for three reasons: If you take a name of a product which already exists in the same or similar market, this product company can sue you in some countries. Example: creating a graphics editing program an naming it . If you take a name which is already in use extensively, you will hardly be able to be in first 10 in Google or other search engines results. Example: calling your application .
Why we built Illuminate and where we think APM is going next!
People have asked us a few questions about Illuminate following our recent major release. We’ll try to do our best by answering them here! Illuminate is a completely different type of performance tool. In our opinion it represents the future of tooling in the performance diagnostic space. Up until now, the APM space has been dominated by tools that are effectively dashboards displaying multitudes of metrics.
