Doesn't Ken Bruce live in Oxfordshire? I'm mean, surely Bauer could allow him to broadcast his show from that building (instead of travelling to London to do his show). Also, that would technically means that Oxfordshire gets 3 hours local.
I’d like to think that Lincs retains its local identity on DAB and doesn’t become a hollowed out jukebox… However, I will say it’s a very canny move by Bauer to get wider GHR coverage, especially into Hull and East Yorkshire where 102.2 booms in. It easily replaces the loss of 99.8 to Nation. It makes me wonder why they are faffing around with a platform that currently delivers just a third of total radio listening hours per RAJAR.
