What was your first job as a journalist?

My first paid job as a journalist was with AOL for Spinner interviewing SXSW bands.

How is social media changing news?

Social media makes news real time and interactive, now the audience is able to drive the narrative.

What's your favorite social network?

Favorite social network for news is definitely Twitter.

Why did you become a journalist?

I began blogging the space to figure out why video wasn't monetizing as well as gaming.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My favorite article is "Dr. Doom on the Future of Money" because Ev clapped for it!

Best pitch ever was from DJI - they were following me closely at SXSW and when they saw I was close, tweeted for me to visit. Nice surprise!
