Suns Files 1.01 - 4 Quarters is Impossible
Welcome to the Suns Files! With the season now fully in swing, we’ll be here talking Suns basketball every week! Big Time Comeback The Suns started their 2025-2026 campaign at home against the Sacramento Kings. Things did not start well for the retooled Suns, as they fell behind by as much as twenty at one point. The team entered halftime down 17 and needed a spark. Devin Booker and Grayson Allen each scored 10 points in the third quarter, helping Phoenix outscore Sacramento 36-21 in the period.

With ample time spent playing the game, here’s my review of EA’s latest College Football rendition. Dynasty Dynasty feels improved for the most part.

After a disastrous season, the Chicago Bears are again looking for a new coach. After the firing of Matt Eberflus, General Manager Ryan Poles has been under scrutiny, and many fans are calling for his job. It’s fair to say they have a good reason. Poles left Eberflus on the hook for a season too long and created a mess out of what was supposed to be the Bears’ coming-out party.

Just three weeks in, the Hollywood Top 25 has already been flipped on its head. A few upsets and a few big games, here’s how the Top 25 looks entering week 3.

Week 1 of the NFL season is officially over. Some teams dominated, while others looked like they were hanging on. My rankings have significantly changed this week with a full slate of games in the books. Teams either proved their rankings were correct or entirely off. Here’s how the rankings look entering Week 2.

Welcome back to the top 25! With the first whole week in the books for college football, my rankings have seen some shake-up. Seeing almost every team in action helps decipher who’s better early on. That said, there’s still a long way to go, and any of these teams could fall out as quickly as this week. Which teams fell out of the top 25 this week?

With the NFL season fast approaching everyone has an opinion on where each team in the league is. Not everyone is going to feel the same about certain teams, however, everyone can agree, that ranking teams is fun. Since the start of this year’s college football season, I have taken over doing BSP’s Top 25, and I’ll be doing the same this year for our NFL Power Rankings. With the Chiefs-Ravens opener fast approaching, here is where I have every team ranked to start the season.

Welcome to our newest article series on Back Sports Page, “HollyWood’s NCAA Top 25.” Previously done by Chris Page, this series details the top 25 teams in the NCAA every week as ranked by me with other BSP members. With 0 week now behind us it’s time to turn everyone’s sights towards week 1. We don’t know much about many of these teams, many have question marks all over them. However on paper, here is where they all stack up: HollyWood’s NCAA Top 25 – Week 1 1. Georgia 2. Oregon 3. Ohio State 4.
Top 5 Most Underrated Events from the 2024 Paris Olympics

After trading Stefon Diggs, the Bills hope Brian Thomas Jr. can turn into their new WR1. Somewhat overshadowed by college teammate Malik Nabers, Thomas Jr. has lightning-quick speed, which should pair well with the strong arm of Josh Allen. Thomas led all of FBS in 2023 with 17 touchdown receptions. Replacing Diggs will be next to impossible, but Thomas has the potential to turn into Josh Allen’s new favorite target.
BSP Roundtable: Super Bowl LVIII Predictions
Welcome back to the BSP Roundtable Here on the BSP roundtable, we ask each of our writers for their opinion on a specific topic. With Super Bowl LVIII being this weekend, we felt it was only right to submit our Super Bowl predictions. Here’s what our writers are expecting for the big game! Andy Diedrich: Chiefs 26, 49ers 14 While I want to keep it as simple as one team has Patrick Mahomes and the other doesn’t, I do think the 49ers are good enough for me to back this claim up a bit.
Predicting the booths for the new NASCAR media rights deal
NASCAR’s New Media Deal For the first time in many years, NASCAR has signed a brand new media rights deal. Since 2015, all races have been broadcast on FOX/FS1 and NBC/NBCSN/USA Network. They have each included two broadcast teams to call the 36 race season. With NASCAR’s brand new, very expensive(7.8 billion dollars) media rights deal they will now have 4 broadcast partners for their premier series. Those companies are the returning FOX and NBC, as well as new additions in Amazon Prime and TNT/MAX.
Untapped Potential: Josh Gordon
Welcome back to Untapped Potential! Many players enter the league and many only stay a short while. Some have a lot of potential, and oters are just serviceable players. However, all will agree that the chance to be a staple in the NFL is small and you can’t take advantage of it. Take Josh Gordon for example, a guy who was primed to be a star after a standout year in 2013. By 2014, Gordon’s opportunity to be a national star was right there in his grasp, and it slipped right through his fingers.
Jaylon Johnson requests trade before 2023 deadline Original
Bears Star Cornerback Jaylon Johnson has requested a trade This season has been one to forget for Bears fans and it’s not even November quite yet. To make things worse, star cornerback Jaylon Johnson has officially requested a trade from the team. #Bears corner Jaylon Johnson has requested a trade, per source. Chicago granted permission to search for a new home before today’s trade deadline. The player and team negotiated a new contract last week but couldn’t come close to a deal.
BREAKING: Justin Fields ruled OUT with hand injury Original
Justin Fields ruled OUT in 3rd quarter against Vikings with right hand injury Early in the 3rd quarter down 12-6, Bears quarterback Justin Fields attempted to escape pressure and fell awkwardly on his right throwing hand. He would run off the field in pain and immediately headed for the medical tent. He would then head to the locker room before officially being ruled out. #Bears QB Justin Fields is going to the locker room with an apparent hand injury. Undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent is the backup.
Disgruntled Wide Receiver takes shot at the Chicago Bears Original
Chase Claypool takes a shot at the Chicago Bears losing culture Last week, the Chicago Bears traded Chase Claypool after a string of poor performances paired with a bad attitude. Now that he’s gone, the drama continues. In a recent post-practice interview, Claypool had this to say: “I think that when you lose a lot of games in a row, there’s frustration, naturally. I think that’s new for everybody. I’m sure from the top down. So I think just being excited getting some wins and stuff like that.
Phoenix Suns Media Day 2023: Acclimating to the Valley
The NBA season is fast approaching and to kick things off, all 32 teams hosted media day. I was fortunate enough to be in attendance at Phoenix Suns media day. The Suns are host to plenty of new faces in the valley this season, many of which were excited for media day. The event is an opportunity for players and media to interact before any sort of practices have taken place.
DJ Moore makes specutacular touchdown grab in Week 5 Original
DJ Moore makes an incredible touchdown catch on Thursday Night Football While the Bears were thought to be dead, they are showing a lot of life against the Washington Commanders. The main man behind that push is their offseason trade acquisition DJ Moore. Through the first quarter, Moore acclimated 126 yards on 4 catches so far this evening. He already had one touchdown, add one more with this beauty: This throw by Justin Fields is on the money. And the catch by DJ Moore is impressive. Wow.
David Montgomery creates upsetting stat for Bears fans
Former Bear turned Lion David Montgomery has as many touchdowns as the entire Chicago Bears team this season. This past offseason running back David Montgomery signed to the Detroit Lions, ending his time as a Chicago Bear after 4 seasons. Through just 3 weeks as a Lion, Montgomery has already equaled his rushing touchdown total from a year ago. Coincidentally, he’s also matched his former team’s touchdown count as well.
Chicago Bears fans calling for jobs after Week 3 vs. Chiefs
Bears fans and media have had enough of Matt Eberflus and Luke Getsy. The Chicago Bears are spiraling out of control. Amid the Bears getting crushed by Kansas City, Chicago Bears fans and media have taken to Twitter/X in frustration with Chicago’s inept coaching staff. Take a look: Someone needs to lose their job soon. Idk who and I don’t really care but how do you allow this to continue?
Bears Coach Matt Eberflus continues to baffle fans Original
The Bears lose once again and Matt Eberflus continues to baffle fans at the podium The Bears lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-27 in what was another bad loss for the organization. After a week of frustration and turmoil following a rough Packers loss, the Bears responded by looking just as bad. As per usual with this offense, screen plays where abundant no matter the down and distance.
2023 Rookie Roschon Johnson could be a gem for the Bears Original
Roschon Johnson’s recent performance is quietly turning heads The Chicago Bears are coming off a week of terrible football and plenty of drama. However, with all the negativity surrounding the team, it’s important to take a moment and look at one of the few positives following Sunday’s loss to Green Bay, Roschon Johnson. Roschon Johnson made his first start for the Bears this Sunday. The rookie running back was selected in the 4th round and played alongside Falcons rookie Bijan Robinson in Texas.

2023 NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year Candidates
The NFL season is fast approaching and there are plenty of new rookies that have been brought into the league. Many of these guys are looking to make a name for themselves in the NFL, and one easy way to do that is by winning Rookie of the Year. The award is handed to the highest performing rookie of that season on each side of the football. Here are my 5 candidates for OROTY. Bryce Young Obviously the number one overall pick was going to be here, Young should have a solid rookie campaign.
What is the Best Madden Game?
With the release of Electronic Arts’ Madden 24, our writers compiled their thought on the best Madden game to ever release. Hardly any of us agreed, which makes things all the more interesting. What is the best Madden game? Even though there are a ton of Madden’s that I loved, my favorite Madden has to be Madden 25. It was the last Madden I had on my Xbox 360 as I got the Playstation 4 the next year.
Predicting the 2023 NFL Season Standings
With the NFL season creeping up, fans and writers around the country have been hyping up their teams, expecting this to be the year. Unfortunately, only one team can hoist the trophy at the end of the season. That being said, the NFL season is long and grueling. There’s a lot that can happen between Week 1 and Week 18. Today, I predict how the entire NFL standings shape out at the end of the year. AFC North Joe Burrow had a injury scare early in training camp, but that will be a non-factor.
Will Cardinals Rookie Clayton Tune Start Week 1?
With Kyler Murray expected to miss a large chunk of the 2023 NFL season with a torn ACL, the Arizona Cardinals quarterback job is wide open for the time being. Before the draft, I had mocked the Cardinals to take Houston Quarterback Clayton Tune in the 6th Round. The Cardinals did go on to select Tune, but in the 4th round rather than the 6th. I said it in my mock draft, Clayton Tune can be a solid backup for this Cardinals team.
BSP Roundtable: NFL Undrafted Free Agents To Watch For
Recently, we had our writers list some undrafted players that may have an impact for a team this season. While not guaranteed, our writers believe these guys can become a something this season. Nate Powalie– Ronnie Hickman, Cleveland Browns Honestly, I thought Ronnie Hickman would have been taken in the draft. But, the Browns are maybe tapping into some of the local talent (sure Ohio State might be a couple of hours from Cleveland, but it’s keeping a Buckeye in-state).
NASCAR and Street Races: This is the Way
This past weekend NASCAR made a historic mark in the sports 75 year history, racing on their first ever street course. Street Courses have been seen in numerous racing series from IndyCar to F1, but the concept is completely foreign to anyone familiar with NASCAR. The series decided to dip their toes in this year by racing on the brand new Chicago street course. NASCAR’s first Street Race Many fans, analysts, and drivers were very skeptical of the race and the course layout itself.
BSP Roundtable: Who should have been on the cover for Madden 24?
With the recent news that Josh Allen will be facing the Madden 24 cover has had sports fanatics and video gamers debating heavily. Did Josh Allen deserve the Madden 24 cover? Here’s what BSP’s very own think about the cover. Jacob Piccuito– Justin Jefferson Justin Jefferson should be on the cover of Madden 24 due to his exceptional performance as a young wide receiver in the NFL. At just 22 years old, he has already proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with on the field.
Cardinals Release Hopkins, What Happens Next?
The Arizona Cardinals have offically released DeAndre Hopkins. What a twist of events. After months of trade rumors, DeAndre Hopkins will finally head to a new team. The rumors of his departure were running rampant and many believed the Cardinals were lined up to trade him on draft day. That weekend came and went with Hopkins still on the teams roster. After the draft, it was believed Arizona and Hopkins would stick together, atleast for now. Many of the rumors stopped until this week.

Prospect Interview: Danny Kittner
This week I interviewed one of the most underrated prospects in this years draft class, Danny Kittner. Kittner played receiver for the University of Mary the last few years and set almost every receiving record the school had. The Marauders all-time catch and receiving yard leader was a standout in college and I expect his time in the NFL to be the same. Known for his great hands and playmaking ability, I sat down with Kittner to discuss his time in college and his future in the NFL.
2023 Back Sports Page NFL Writer's Draft
With the draft looming we decided as a staff to put together our own draft. We allowed our writers to act as the general manager of certain teams and pick who they think is the best fit for their chosen teams. We go through all of the draft picks with a brief analysis included, followed by a graphic made by BSP’s own Sam Cahoy that sums up the draft.
Prospects to Look Out for in This Year's NFL Draft
With the 2023 NFL Draft fast approaching, the BSP Football staff found some prospects for draft fans to keep an eye on this weekend. The NFL draft is filled with prospects from all different college, so we figured we helped narrow things down a bit. Let’s see who our writers are keeping an eye on entering this years draft. Jake Piccuito– Vilami Fehoko, Defensive Tackle, San Jose State The man wreaked havoc this past year earning the fourth-most pressures in the entire country.
Arizona Cardinals 7 Round Mock Draft
The Arizona Cardinals had a very disappointing 2022 season leading to a brand new head coach and general manager. The Cardinals were fairly quiet in free agency this past offseason, so the draft is where they will have to find their players. PFF’s mock draft simulator helped me make selections for Arizona through all 7 rounds. There’s a lot that needs improvement on this team, so let’s get to work.
NFL Draft Profile: Danny Kittner
The NFL draft is fast approaching and today I’ll be going over one of the more underrated prospects in this years draft. The wide receiver position is a need for many teams and Danny Kittner could be a sneaky late round pick. Danny Kittner stands at 5’10”, 187 pounds, playing his college ball for the University of Mary Marauders. Here’s why teams should keep their eyes on Danny Kittner.
Free Agency Preview: Arizona Cardinals
2022 Record The Cardinals finished 2022 with an extremely dissapointing 4-13 record. With the offense taking a step back and the defense lacking improvement, Kliff Kingsbury was fired come seasons end. Former General Manager Steve Kiem has also stepped away from the team. With a brand new regime in Monti Ossenfort and Jonathan Gannon, the Cardinals will look to make some strides this offseason. Cap Space The Cardinals enter the offseason with 35.2 million dollars in cap space.
Young and Hungry: Arizona Finds Their Coordinators
Shortly after Super Bowl LVII the Cardinals wasted no time in getting an interview with Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. He would become the leading candidate for the franchise and first year GM Monti Ossenfort. Once Arizona announced Gannon’s official arrival, it was time for him to get to work on building a staff. While most of the staff is still being put into place, both the offensive and defensive coordinator positions were filled this past week, according to ESPN.

Back Sports Page Predicts Super Bowl LVII
This Sunday the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will brawl in the desert of Phoenix to decide Super Bowl LVII. We asked all of our NFL writer’s to submit their predictions for the game. Here’s what we all think the end result will be of Sunday’s showdown. Brock Voth Chiefs: 34, Eagles: 31 The reason why I think the Chiefs will edge out the Eagles is the mismatch between the Eagles’ pass defense, which struggled throughout the season.
Arizona Cardinals Offensive Report Card
The Arizona Cardinals had a year to forget this past season, falling short of expectations considerably. The team fired Kliff Kingsbury come season’s end and now focuses on the future of the franchise. Today we wrap things up by grading each offensive position for the Arizona Cardinals. Quarterback After signing a big contract this past offseason, expectations were high for Kyler Murray. Unfortunately, Murray had a rough season from the start.
Chicago Bears Offensive Report Card
The Chicago Bears had what many would call a throwaway season going a measly 3-14 and gaining the number one pick in the draft. However, this season did have its bright spots for fans and has many optimistic for the future. Today we go over grades for the Bears offense this past season. Quarterback Justin Fields was quite electric this year and progressed in ways that has the front office excited about his future.
Untapped Potential: Brandon Knight
Welcome to the Untapped Potential series. This is a look back at some athletes with shortened careers or circumstances that prevented them from reaching their full potential. Today’s spotlight is on former NBA guard Brandon Knight. Our own Mason Wood has previous details here about the series’ beginnings. Knight was taken as the eighth overall selection by the Detroit Pistons in the 2011 NBA Draft after a one-season stint at the University of Kentucky.
