Pulse of the CFF Nation: Week 2
Week 1 is always unpredictable when it comes to CFF. Let’s see what week 2 has in store for us. Have No Fear for Devon Dampier Only one thing concerned me when Dampier transferred to Utah. Not the jump in competition. Not the lack of receivers. Not the system. It was actually the game script. New Mexico constantly played from behind and was involved in so many shootouts due to their swiss cheese defense.
Ballin with My Bestie - Episode 21 - DraftKings Saturday Main Slate: Week 2
Week 1 is in the books, so Austin Nace is breaking down all the info you need to know…
Pulse of the CFF Nation: Week 1
If Week Zero was the appetizer, then we finally have our entrée this week. Let’s Go!!! Here are some quick thoughts that came to my mind while observing the first glimpse of football for 2025: -Iowa State WRs are cooked. They rotated far too often to have faith in any of them, and the TEs look to be the primary options anyway. Bye Felicia.
Ballin with My Bestie - Episode 20 - It’s See You Soon
Chris and Ethan recap their offseason, determining if they listened to themselves or ignored months of research. They then wrap up the show with Week 1 DFS thoughts.
Dynasty Deep Dives, Week 1
The 2025 season is upon us. Are you ready? Hopefully you’re in for a winning campaign. But those of us that play Dynasty know it’s a 365-day a year endeavor. So, this is the time to make pickups and stashes that could pay off this season. We’ve finished the pre-season and made it through the initial roster cuts. Below is a list of survivors, all of whom could have value as we go through a long NFL season. All roster percentages courtesy of the NFL.
Favorite Freshman Stashes for 2025
Dear is shaping up to be a stash who could be considered a breakout candidate for year one. For a player who has had relatively little fanfare, he was a very respectable recruit landing at Alabama. He is an explosive athlete who owns respectable high school production. With the Jam Miller injury leading up to the regular season, Alabama needs some other running backs to step up. Dear brings a unique skill set, including a north and south speed back, and has adequate size for the position.
High School Football Weekly Wrap Up
The high school season has kicked off with a bang, and every week we are going to do our best to keep you updated. The top prospects from around the country show why they were so sought after. HT WT C2C 247Sports Rivals ESPN 6’5 205 2 5 6 1 Henry had an 81-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter as he put together a huge performance in his first game back from injury. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in week one last season. He finished with four catches for 134 yards and two scores.
NFL Unit Grades: AFC Running Backs, Part 2
The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and the biggest wave of free agency is over. That makes it a perfect time to take stock of NFL rosters as we head toward the 2025 season. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be looking at the quarterbacks, running backs, and pass catchers for all 32 NFL Teams. I’ll be ranking each unit 1-16 in their conference. When it comes to taking stock of the whole unit, it’s not just about star power but depth. Today, it’s the last group of AFC running back rooms.

2025 Elite 11 Finals Preview
Twenty of the top quarterbacks in the 2026 class are heading to Los Angeles on June 17-19 to compete in the Elite 11 Finals, a premier quarterback competition. This is a three-day event where the best of the class will compete to be named the Elite 11 winner. This is the 26th year the competition has been contested, and we’ve seen CJ Stroud, Jackson Arnold, Justin Fields, Tua Tagovailoa, and Spencer Rattler all win the coveted MVP award.

Once again, we’ll jump into Tiering Up the Competition! Here, you’ll find players we want to call out for good/bad reasons at each pricing level, helping you build your very best lineups for DraftKings Main and Night slates! Today, we’ll look at the SaturdayMain Slate. Let’s take a look at our options….
Freshman Phenom: JMU’s Dylan Williams Poised For Immediate Impact
Purple rain, purple rain, purple rain – Prince, musician (RIP) Every year, the college football community speculates on the top incoming freshmen, yet most predictions about which players will make the biggest impact in their first year turn out to be wrong. Naturally, most gravitate towards the top of the recruiting rankings. Names like Jeremiah Smith and Cam Coleman are popular picks to be the most productive of the incoming WR class this year.
Pulse of the CFF Nation: Week 1
Week Zero was the appetizer. Week 1 is the entree, and I am already getting the meat sweats from thinking about it. Here is a fresh batch of randomness for this week’s Pulse. Memphis backfield of Sutton Smith OR Mario Anderson. The talent has always been there for Smith, but the consistency has not. Still lean toward Mario, but a split would be something. Kamari Moulton as Iowa RB1. There have been strong camp reports on Moulton, and Leshon Williams has been limited some with a minor injury.
Tiering Up the Competition - Week One Draftkings Friday Main Slate
We have a Friday Main Slate to discuss for Week One of Draftkings DFS. Once again we’ll jump into Tiering Up the Competition! Here you’ll find players we want to call out for good/bad reasons at each of the different pricing levels, helping you build your very best lineups for DraftKings Main and Night slates! Let’s digest the Friday Main Slate and look at our options…. On any condensed slate with fewer options, it’s important to take inventory of QB options.
Alvin Henderson Recruiting Profile
Alvin Henderson is currently listed as a four-star running back in the on3 consensus rankings, with two rankings inside the top 10 and two rankings closer to a top 20 rated back. Henderson can move his ranking into the top 10 for all four services. Service Star Rating National Rank Position Rank On3 4 229 18 247 4 – 15 ESPN 4 105 6 Rivals 4 33 2 Listed at 5’9″ and 195 lbs., Henderson has been recruited by some of the biggest names in college football. Kalen DeBoer and Alabama tried to land him.
2024 Devy Risers and Fallers
Here are notable risers or fallers from my devy rankings right before week one of the 2024 college season begins. Kyron Drones has been an interesting player to rank, as he did not receive much widespread attention immediately after his impressive 2023 season. Before 2023, he was a four-star recruit but was mostly forgotten after two seasons at Baylor. Last season, he was finally allowed to start, and he impressed at Virginia Tech.
Dynasty Deep Dives: Final Roster Guys
The 2024 season is upon us. Are you ready? Hopefully, you’re in for a winning campaign. But those of us who play Dynasty know it’s a 365-day-a-year endeavor. So, this is the time to make pickups and stashes that could pay off this season. Below are some players who were strong this pre-season and could make an impact during a long fantasy season. All roster percentages are courtesy of the NFL. Roster Percentage: 2.8 About: Some may have given up on Fields.
Arizona: WR Jeremiah Patterson Earns Starting Slot Role
The hype around transfer receiver Jeremiah Patterson hit a crescendo in fall camp, culminating in a starting position for the Wildcats with the recently released depth chart. Patterson, who joins the team from the College of San Mateo, looks to fill in for Jacob Cowing following his departure to the NFL. This is a highly productive passing offense looking for another receiver to emerge behind superstar Tet McMillan.
Iowa: Kamari Moulton Listed as RB1
An exciting development out of Iowa: redshirt freshman Kamari Moulton is listed atop the depth chart. Moulton, who played in four games last season, had a strong camp. He beats out both Leshon Williams and Kaleb Johnson, two players with significant experience. Moulton is likely the lead in a committee, given how Iowa has approached the position in recent years. However, with Tim Lester joining as offensive coordinator, there’s hope this offense improves.
Week 1 Recruiting Update
High school football kicked off its first week all around the country. The 2025 incoming freshman class is more important than ever for C2C leagues. Every week, we will update you on how players in the 2025 class are doing and whether they are moving up or down or grading boards. Throughout the season, we will post what stats and information we can find on the current top 10 at each position. Bryce will play his first game on Friday, 8/30, against Clarkston, MI.
The West Texas TANK Back to Unloading on Defenses in 2023?
A VP assessment of UTEP’s RB situation He can block, tackle, score the touchdown, snap the ball, and kick the extra point. Hell, the boy will fill up the Gatorade cooler, walk the dog, and paint your back porch.
Campus to Canton Supplemental Draft Strategy: Early Rounds
Last week, I went on a week-long vacation with my family, which coincided perfectly with my biggest supplemental draft of the offseason. Not only does this league not have any waivers throughout the year, but it is also the highest buy-in currently in my league portfolio. And honestly, I haven’t performed particularly well in this league over the past two years. So with a week on the beach to prepare, I embarked on a quest to create the ultimate pre-draft queue.
Underrated Offenses 2023: The UNLV Rebels
The underrated offense series last year were my favorite pieces to write. There are so few edges to be gained in college fantasy football that finding a handful could make a difference in selecting players at value and ultimately winning your leagues. The UNLV Rebels are a team that can emerge under these criteria entering the 2023 season.
Making the Jump Series: FCS to FBS transfers - Part 1, Tight Ends
You’ve heard the story. In an offensive overhaul, Western Kentucky brought on a handful of Houston Baptist personnel, including the Huskies’ offensive coordinator, quarterback, and leading receivers. By the end of the 2021 season, offensive coordinator Zach Kittley, quarterback Bailey Zappe, and wide receiver Jerreth Sterns became household names amongst CFB enthusiasts and the CFF community.
Predicting Future Success: Getting Trendy (Pt. 1)
I typically release my pre-season rankings for the 2023 draft class in late July, but I’m getting antsy. I wanted to go over in detail what the process is like for me. Last year I outlined my top 15 heading into the NCAA season and declaring for the 2022 draft. 9/15 went on to be drafted between days 1-2. Predicting the draft cap does not mean that1 they’re a done deal success story. This year I adjusted my process a little bit with the expectation of more accurate results.
