What was your first job as a journalist?
A digital marketing agency that demanded 30 articles per day. I wrote nearly 16,000 in three years.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
In a friendly, personable way, with a keen eye for an angle, and with fantastic stats or facts to back it up.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
There's nothing better than Google Docs, as it lets me dip in and out of my articles on any device. Photoshop helps me get the perfect shots.
What's your favorite social network?
Who knows? Good things seem to come to an end quite regularly.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The Daily Beast.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
There's a widely-held belief that all game journalists are biased against specific consoles. Most of us aren't.
