Surmount Review: A Little More Altitude — Six One Indie
As for environmental hazards, Surmount has it all. Without spoiling what lies in wait in further zones, just know there’s a lot to avoid, dodge, and climb fast through. In the first area though you’ll find platforms that will crumble to your touch if you’re too rough, as well as rock walls that play by the same rules.
Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom Review: Jesus, Take The Wheel — Six One Indie
This is where Yellow Taxi absolutely excels, but could also be where most players will take an issue with. The game will not hold your hand for even a second. From the offset that fact is presented to you, while yes there aren’t lives so you can continue forever, there is a real consequence to dying; you’ll lose 30 Coins every time you die. It’s a travesty for any hat-collection soul. Depending on the level, it is very easy to lose the bankroll you’ve been saving up.

As if to imply those chairs have it much tougher than I do. It doesn’t feel like that to me. In fact, I will argue that being a chair of a small department can actually be harder, albeit in different ways, than being chair of a large one.

Fantasy Football 2022: Top 5 NFL Free Agent Wide Receivers
The NFL season just ended, but that doesn’t mean we’re finished talking about football. Truthfully, the NFL offseason can be one of the more exciting times in the sport with free agency, the Draft, and trades – not to mention the rumors and speculation swirling around these events. The legal tampering period for the NFL begins in a little under a month, on March 14, and the gold rush officially begins on March 16 – so we don’t have much time left before free agency hits.
The 2022 Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers Bridge-Year Plan
When the Green Bay Packers lost in the NFL playoffs, part two of the Aaron Rodgers saga began. The 38-year-old veteran quarterback is still under contract for the 2022 season but, after last year’s offseason turmoil, the speculation as to how he and the Packers move forward this offseason is fast and furious. "I don't want to be part of a rebuild if I'm going to keep playing," Aaron Rodgers said.
2021 NFL Draft Guide: Being Flexible In Snake Drafts
There’s been a lot of debate lately on the fantasy scene about which draft strategy is the best one. Which blows my mind. Because we already know for a fact that there is a definitive best strategy in fantasy football: all of them. Now, obviously it’s not possible to use every draft strategy at once - that’s just silly. What I’m talking about is KNOWING all of the draft strategies.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 13
Well it’s been another bizarre week in the 2020 season. The Ravens/Steelers game has been delayed three times, the Broncos couldn’t use a quarterback this week, Will Fuller is suspended for the rest of the year, etc. It’s an endless list and we’re throwing everything into the fire of injuries and COVID list additions.
NFL Running Back Workloads: Week 7
Published: Oct 29, 2020 We saw Edmonds finally get an increased workload in Week 7 following the injury to Kenyan Drake. The Cardinals are on a bye in Week 8 but with Drake expected to miss multiple weeks fantasy owners should be looking at Edmonds as a nice RB2 in most league formats. Expect Eno Benjamin to be active and act as the back up to Edmonds with Drake out.
NFL Running Back Workloads: Week 5
The death of Kenyan Drake was greatly exaggerated. Kidding aside, he continues to see the majority of the touches and was FINALLY able to score a touchdown thanks to four red zone touches. Fantasy owners can't be pleased with just a single target in the team's passing offense as it's clear that Chase Edmonds is going to fulfill that role in the offense which makes him a nice flex play in PPR leagues. Gurley is trucking right now as he comes off his first 100-yard game of the season.
NFL Running Back Workloads: Week 1
Published: Sep 16, 2020 Arizona Cardinals Drake led the Cardinals backfield with 16 carries while playing 71-percent of the total offensive snaps. He saw one carry inside the 10-yard line and was able to convert that for his first rushing touchdown of the season. Drake is a capable pass catcher and saw two targets but it was backup Chase Edmonds that led the group with five targets, converting three of them for catches which included a 10-yard touchdown reception.
2020 NFL Draft Guide: Superflex League Set-Up, Rules & Draft Strategy
The purpose of the Fantasy Alarm Draft Guide is to be sure that you are ready for your draft, no matter what kind of draft that might be. Fantasy football has evolved into all different kinds of leagues now as people look for more ways to enjoy the game we love. Few types of leagues are increasing in popularity and in frequency as Superflex leagues.
Fantasy Football D/ST Preview: The Saints Come Marching
We are less than 100 days from the start of the NFL season and the NFL Draft Guide content will be rolling out as we dive deeper into the Summer of Quarantine. So far we’ve previewed D/ST’s on the rise, D/ST’s we should avoid, looked at the NFL schedule, etc. Now it’s time to look at a D/ST that we haven’t really talked about too much. Who really wants me to reiterate my love for the Chargers, Bucs, or Cardinals? Some of you are still going to reach for a D/ST earlier than recommended.
Fantasy Football Tight End Preview: Know the Scheme
If you read our first tight end article in this series last Friday or our pre-season tight end guide last year, you already know how heavily we weigh analytics and metrics in our decision making process. If you are tuning in for the first time, then feel free to clicks those links or just take our word for it – it’s a lot. Watching highlights and calling yourself a “film grinder” is all well and good but the fact of the matter is that we all watch football.
Fantasy Football Quarterback Preview: Superflex League Targets
There may be no type of fantasy football league growing in popularity as quickly as superflex leagues. For those who are unfamiliar, while the flex position in most leagues are limited to running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, superflex leagues add the ability to play a quarterback in your flex spot. And while almost every industry article/podcast/video tells you to wait on drafting quarterbacks, superflex complicates things some.

Published: Dec 26, 2019 If your season long league’s season plays out until Week 17 you’re going to have to maneuver past some obstacles as you try to determine which RBs to include in your lineups this week. Fantasy Football IDP Report: Week 16 *UPDATED*
Published: Dec 21, 2019 This is it, Championship Week for Fantasy Football! And if it is not for your league, here is a suggestion: Change your settings and stop using Week 17 for your championship (unless you combine results for Weeks 16 and 17, then maybe it is agreeable). Off the soapbox, now, and on to the profiles of those IDP that can potentially bring home the trophy for you.

NFL Fantasy Football Red Zone Report: Week 6
Published: Oct 19, 2018 Paying attention to who is getting targeted and/or getting carries in the red zone and down near the goal line are both very important in all fantasy formats. Touchdowns are major point boosters in PPR leagues and even more so in standard. The weekly report will be a one-stop shop where you can find all the information you could possibly need when it comes to the red zone. Each week I will point out some notable performances for that week and then include season totals.
2017 NFL Hot Takes: Week 12
I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and feasted on plenty of food and football. The fantasy playoffs are just around the corner. Hopefully you can take away some slight shred of information from this piece that can help you win your league. If not, perhaps I provide you with some fodder for your water cooler talk that’ll leave your co-workers thinking you (and indirectly I) are an idiot. I Wasn’t Kidding About Patrick Mahomes Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs absolutely stink.
2017 Fantasy Football Injury Report: November 15
This edition of the injury report is heavily focused on concussions as several key players are in the league’s protocol which jeopardizes their status for upcoming games. The fantasy playoffs are right around the corner so every injury matters now as GMs jockey for position in the standings.
2017 NFL WR/CB Match-ups: Week 7
Published: Oct 19, 2017 Well, in short, an injury to Emmanuel Sanders killed his fantasy outing, and perhaps longer. He’s already ruled out for this week’s contest. Tyreek Hill and Jamison Crowder underperformed, while the Colts completely misused T.Y. Hilton in a prime matchup. However, Golden Tate dominated Kenny Vaccaro, as I expected. Oh yeah, follow me on Twitter (@colbyrconway) as well! Now, here are my 10 favorite matchups in the slot this weekend. Michael Thomas vs.
2017 NFL Surprising Stats to Know: Week 6
Last week was the first week with teams on bye, but we have to deal with missing players through Week 11. Keeping your eye on surprising stats pointing you towards players or situations that other might now acknowledge will be key in getting the edge that you need over competitors. Fasten your seatbelts, #FANation! It’s going to be a bumpy ride. Zach Ertz leads all tight ends in fantasy points in both standard and PPR formats. He has yet to get less than eight targets in a game.
2017 Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Report: October 9
Each week of the National Hockey League regular season, we will take a look at some of the most interesting names that may appear on the waiver wire in various fantasy leagues. It may be NHL players whose situation has improved because of injury, minor-league players recently recalled (or on the verge of a recall) or off to fast starts in the AHL. Here is this week's batch: 1.
Fantasy Football Evolution: Team Numero Dos
Here’s a note to this post that should have been mentioned in the introduction post… The more teams you buy with FFE the cheaper they get. Your first team costs $25 for the main event, but the price gradually decreases from there. You can also buy 10 teams in bulk for $200 flat. I forgot to mention that in my introductory piece which can be seen here. Alright, throwing up the white flag here.
NFL Week 12 Review: Hot Takes
0: The number of targets In Week 12 or Antonio Gates, Sterling Shepard and Brandin Cooks. How is that possible? The Saints scored 49 points and Cooks didn’t see one target. #HowIsThatPossible? 200: Career wins for Tom Brady tying Peyton Manning for most in NFL history. It’s officially panic time. Jay Ajayi ran for 45 yards on 18 carries against the Niners, the worst run defense in the NFL in 50-years. His last five games include descending rushing totals: 214, 111, 79, 77 and 45.
NFL Around the League: Drafting a Defensive Dynasty
Jags Double Down on Defense in Draft In 2015 the Jaguars offense was arguably the surprise story of the season, as they featured one of the deadliest aerial attacks in the league. Several of their young players came on strong as originally hoped when they were drafted (or signed in Allen Hurns’ case).
IDP Report Week 17: Rising, Falling And Injured Defensive Players
How did Week 16 treat you? Are you the league champ, or do you need to grit your teeth and do it again in Week 17? As I mini-ranted last week, if you are playing for your championship in Week 17, you are setting yourself up for disappointment, as your starters are rested or used sparingly. Seriously, you should consider making your final week of play Week 16. There are plenty of injuries to consider this week, as set forth below.

In The Trenches: Numbers to Know, Week 9 - 2015
Ameer Abdullah is a great talent, we think. Far too much was made about him all preseason in the fantasy universe, that much should be obvious by now. Abdullah touched the ball once in Week 8 as Joique Bell carried the ball seven times for 56 yards, and looked pretty solid doing it. Abdullah is on pace for four touchdowns, 26 receptions and 450 rushing yards and his star seems to be fading.
