Sea bass and shrimp gumbo Original

Visit Dugazon at 19 W. Main St. Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and online at dugazonshop.com. This month we’re sharing one of our favorite comfort foods: sea bass and shrimp gumbo. While gumbo has a reputation for being a labor of love, this version skips the traditional roux, making it surprisingly approachable.

A savory onion pie recipe from Dugazon Original

Visit Dugazon at 19 W. Main St. Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and online at dugazonshop.com. This savory pie is a delicious alternative to quiche or tomato pie (which we’ll share in the future). Bobby’s mother made a similar recipe, and it was a huge hit. Ideal for breakfast, brunch or lunch entertaining.

Visit Dugazon at 19 W. Main St. Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and online at dugazonshop.com. I remember all the trips growing up going to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to see my grandparents. My grandfather, Bainbridge Dugazon, always had a pot of gumbo on the stove.
Brian Cox Shows the Kids How It’s Done
Brian Cox Shows the Kids How It’s DoneMarc Hom It’s a bright, cold afternoon and I’m about 15 minutes early for my visit with Brian Cox, the Scottish actor who plays Logan Roy, the imperious family patriarch, on HBO’s Succession. We’re scheduled to meet at Cox’s row house, across the street from a low-income housing project on a hip Brooklyn block. I take a lap around the neighborhood, and then at the appointed hour I ring the bell.

Why Mr Sam Rockwell Needs A Break
The Look The king of characters on Richard Jewell, Jojo Rabbit and the importance of taking time off Words by Mr Alex Bhattacharji Photography by Mr Niall O’Brien Styling by Mr Matthew Marden On any given day, Mr Sam Rockwell’s appearance might suggest just-woken weariness: all perpetually tousled hair and sleepy eyes.
This Collaboration Is So Good It Cut Right Through My Anti-Collab Cynicism
Collabs are a dime a dozen these days, so I’m always a bit skeptical of the latest drop, especially when everyone is shouting about it IN ALL CAPS. Just calm down, folks. It's not that big a deal. That baseline skepticism ratchets up another notch when one of the brands involved is one where a primary reference point—for me, at least—is a certain breed of guy.
I Just Discovered the Perfect Jewelry for Men Who Hate Jewelry (Namely Me)
I love when there's something I hate. I get an intense pleasure out of disliking something so strongly that there isn't any gray area. It's either yes or no. And for me, jewelry has always been a hard no. It's not that I hate jewelry. Not at all. In fact, over the years I've been fortunate enough to have seen loads of gorgeous jewelry. Loads of it. And it's also not that I hate jewelry on men—nothing could be further from the truth.
Brooklyn Beckham Nailed Coachella Style By Keeping It Simple
ShotbyJuliann/ShotbyDisco / SplashNews.com I abhor live music (unless it’s Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper belting out Shallow) so it goes without saying that music festivals have never held much interest for me. I just never think the music sounds as good, and honestly don’t enjoy large groups of loud, chaotic, drunk or drugged up messes (at least now that I am sober) hoarding together for hours on end.
Thomas Finney is the Custom Tailor You Can Actually Afford
Blake Martin & Christopher Farber When it comes to getting your perfect, made-to-measure suit, knowledge is power. And no one knows what to consider more effectively than a tailor who makes those suits. In this case: Thomas Finney, the Brooklyn-based menswear designer with a background in custom suiting. Finney's own line, which he launched in 2016 after working at Thom Browne and Club Monaco, is the epitome of modern American styling.

Esquire's Mavericks of Style Featuring Sarah Paulson, Bryan Tyree Henry, John Mulaney and More
Somewhere along the way, guys all started dressing alike. And they look sharp, sure. But also...safe. Which is why we’re here to lift up the rule breakers, the renegades. The ones who can pull off a salmon-colored suit or a bleached-blond MOHAWK without batting an eye. Here's to the eight men (and one woman) who prove that there’s a lot to be said for dressing dangerously. Style isn’t just about what you’re drawn to—it’s about where you come from. That’s director Steve McQueen’s take.

Is Mr Paul Bettany Hollywood’s Most Stylish Man?
He won’t reveal what the competing project is, but he will admit that he’s going to miss some of the wardrobe opportunities he uncovered while researching the Duke of Edinburgh. “One specific one, this beautiful brown suit with an open-neck pink shirt and horn-rimmed dark glasses, so well put together,” he says. “I could do a bit of that.” Overall, though, Mr Bettany has few regrets.

The Look The Avengers and Solo: A Star Wars Story actor tries the new spring tailoring on for size Words by Mr Darrell Hartman Photography by Mr Bjorn Iooss Styling by Mr Matthew Marden For a weekday-morning interview with MR PORTER, Mr Paul Bettany has chosen an airy downtown Manhattan café and claimed a couch at the back, where there is ample room to spread out his lanky frame.
The Old-School Charm Of Mr Garrett Hedlund
The acting bug set in early. He found himself asking questions in literature class and writing to the agents of the actors he admired, after looking them up on this new site, imdb.com. Before long, he was flying to Los Angeles for auditions, invariably returning to Phoenix empty-handed, some 25 times in all. But never disheartened. The plan was to save money doing odd jobs and then move out to LA when he was 18. And he did – though he could only muster $500 in the end, so the budget was strict.
These Major Brands Are Shaping the Future of Fashion Shows
Fashion shows are awesome. There, I said it. I love a fashion show. Many in my profession—editors tasked with covering the world of fashion and style—tend to bemoan the biannual journey to Europe to see the collections. It's cool to sigh and huff and appear inconvenienced by it all. Well, I'm definitely not cool. Because after all these years, I still fucking love it. All of it.
The 10 Most Stylish Movies of the '80s
Our fashion director, Matthew Marden, on the '80s films that inspire him the most. Movies are a constant source of inspiration from which I frequently draw references when thinking of ideas for fashion stories. It's never an exact interpretation but more of echoing a mood or theme.
