Giving the public access to information they wouldn't otherwise have access to.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Keep it short. Less than three sentences. Email me. Don't pitch on Twitter or by phone.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

For distribution, I use SoundCloud for audio, Scribd for documents and Tumblr for video under five minutes (else, YouTube).

Why did you become a journalist?

To give people access to information they may not otherwise be able to obtain.
