Matthew Piell attended Southeastern Bible College of Alabama, located in the suburbs of Birmingham. The Association for Biblical Higher Education accredited the college and offered an array of degree programs, including associate's and bachelor's degrees. After financial challenges forced the school to close its doors, its board of trustees merged with Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Before this closure, Piell completed his studies in 1993 after two years of music, counseling courses, and business and writing classes. After graduating from Southeastern Bible College, Piell has utilized his knowledge to excel in various industries, such as real estate and manufacturing, where he currently works as executive chairman. In addition to his career success, Piell is also dedicated to donating his time and resources to several charities, nonprofits, and community initiatives that support important causes throughout the country. With his help, Piell continues to be an admirable role model whose life reflects what hard work and ambition can achieve.Piell is an Alabama native and a firm believer in the merits of volunteering. Seeing the positive impact it has made in his home city of Trussville, he frequently seeks opportunities in Jefferson and St. Clair counties that allow him to give back to the community. When not working or helping others, Piell delves into various hobbies that keep him busy. These include playing music, watching films, and exploring different parts of the world. He’s been fortunate enough to have traveled widely throughout Europe and Asia, visiting Paris, France’s capital; Szentendre in Hungary; and Prague, Czech Republic--which he considers some of his favorite destinations. Thanks to his enthusiasm for music, cinema, and adventure, Piell is never bored for too long. His volunteering efforts and interests make him someone who values giving back and using downtime constructively.
