Shreveport Habitual Theft Offender Charged with Stealing Apartment Appliances
Shreveport Police have charged a woman with theft after an investigation into appliances that were taken from an apartment during a move-out. Officers were called by management at the Silver Pines South Pointe Apartments, after finding a refrigerator and stove belonging to the apartment complex were missing. A Woodlawn High School teacher has been arrested following allegations that he showed inappropriate images to a 15 year-old student. The investigation began late last month, after the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office was told of suspected inappropriate communication from a teacher, 28 year-old Demetric A. Preston, to a student at Woodlawn High School. The 15 year-old student told school officials that Preston had shown them nude images of himself during the first week of school.
