A blockbuster on the first full day of NBA Free Agency frenzy: the 76ers are acquiring Jaylen Brown from the Celtics for Paul George, two future first-round picks, and two future second-round picks. Per Shams Charania, the first-round picks are a 2028 first-rounder that could convert to a swap if it is more favorable for Boston and an unprotected 2031 first-rounder.

The wait and speculation are over: A.J. Brown is officially a New England Patriot. Not long after Adam Schefter broke the news Monday afternoon, the Eagles made it official: Philadelphia has traded the star wideout to the New England Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick; New England has multiple fifth-rounders next year, so it will be the better of the two.

Joel Embiid underwent successful appendicitis surgery on Thursday. The 94WIP Morning Show spoke to Dr. Ryan Schreiter, D. O. about the injury and Embiid's recovery on Friday. Dr. Schreiter is an orthopedic surgeon at Temple Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and sees patients at Temple Hospital - Main and Temple University – Jeans Hospital.

When asked about wide receiver A.J. Brown amid trade rumors, Eagles GM Howie Roseman repeatedly told reporters at the NFL owners meetings in Arizona that Brown is a "member of the Eagles." One of those reporters who was in attendance for Roseman's media session was 94WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks.
