POCONO TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WFMZ) — A woman has been charged with criminal homicide after a 3-year-old boy and his father were found dead in a guest room at a Great Wolf Lodge in Pocono Township, Pennsylvania. The Monroe County district attorney said 27-year-old Metallica Harrison was charged in the deaths. Police said Harrison called 911 and told authorities her son and husband were already dead. When officers arrived at the room, they noticed injuries to Harrison’s wrist and neck.

ENSENADA, Mexico (AP) — The death toll from Hurricane Simon and the remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel rose to six Tuesday after heavy rains triggered flooding and landslides along Mexico’s Pacific coast, authorities said. The combined company will still have more than 500 non-union employees based in Honolulu. The job cuts are expected to happen in December 2026 and January 2027. 11 employees will be cut from the Hawaiian Airlines corporate headquarters, one from the air cargo hangar, and one from Daniel K.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A case of dengue virus was confirmed in a patient on Oahu. The Hawaii Department of Health identified a new travel-related case, which brings the total number of dengue cases in the state to nine since January. Health officials confirm that there was no connection found between this case and any previous cases in the state. The affected individual was exposed to dengue while traveling in a region where the virus is common.
