Matt Campbell will be coaching for Penn State on the road for the first time this Saturday, as the Nittany Lions head to Philadelphia to face Temple. “I think this is going to be huge for us,” Campbell said Tuesday. “Great teams play great on the road. That's just how it goes.” Here’s how we think Penn State will perform this weekend after a dominant Week 1 win over Marshall. Penn State opens Big Ten play Friday with its toughest test yet. The Nittany Lions travel to face the Washington Huskies at 10:30 p.m. Friday, marking head coach Rob Dow’s first Big Ten matchup since taking over the program. Penn State enters the game at 2-2 after shutting out Yale 1-0 at Jeffrey Field. Washington comes in at 3-2-1 and is fresh off a 4-0 win over UC Davis. Penn State arrives for its match against Stanford, coming off a sweep against DePaul on Monday. After traveling to Philadelphia to play Stanford on Friday night, Penn State will host Ohio at Rec Hall on Saturday. The Stanford match is a part of the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Palestra. After Monday’s match, Penn State has improved to 4-1 on the season and is currently ranked at No. 12.
