WORLD 20 dead after massive Russian air attack on Kyiv The number of fatalities increased to 20 in Kyiv following overnight Russian missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian capital that were among the most intense of the year so far. “As of now, 20 deaths are known,” Tymur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, said Thursday in a post on Telegram. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said a day of mourning had been declared in the city for today in a Telegram post.

LOS ANGELES — Victor Willis, the Village People singer who co-wrote some the band’s biggest hits including “Y.M.C.A.,” has died. He was 74.

PALMDALE — Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Palmdale Station are asking for the public’s help locating at-risk missing person Kamil Blaze. She is a 18-year-old Black female who was last seen March 1 in the 37500 block of Patricia Lane. Blaze is 5-feet tall, 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Blaze may be a victim of human trafficking and is possibly in the downtown area of Los Angeles.
