In February, Tea2Go/TeaN'ergy opened its location at 806 S. Timberland Drive in Lufkin. We were there for a live broadcast, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting to be overly impressed with their product. I mean...it's tea. Boy, was I wrong.

What a great start to the weekend for a lucky East Texan. Last Friday, August 28, someone in Nacogdoches spent $3 on a Texas Lottery scratch-off game card and won $50,000. After nearly 30 years, the murder of Tupac Shakur has finally resulted in a conviction. Duane "Keffe D" Davis was found guilty Monday, Aug. 31, of murder with the use of a deadly weapon in the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed the legendary rapper. A 12-person jury reached its verdict after less than three hours of deliberation, according to the Associated Press. Davis, 63, faces up to life in prison.

TEXAS -- A discarded Coors Light can helped Texas investigators make an arrest in a murder case that had gone unsolved for 45 years. In April 1981, 23-year-old Yolanda Herrera was last seen walking home from a bar in the Universal City area near San Antonio. Two days later, her body was found in a field in Bexar County.

Lionel Richie has been hospitalized after appearing to struggle during a concert in St. Louis, Missouri, over the weekend. The 77-year-old singer checked himself into a local hospital following Saturday night's performance, according to TMZ. Doctors were reportedly running tests after he experienced what was described as slight dehydration. Richie's hospitalization came just two months after he fell ill during another concert and was forced to cut the performance short.

Duane "Keffe D" Davis has officially been found guilty in the murder of Tupac Shakur nearly 30 years after the 1996 killing. On Monday (Aug. 31), Clark County District Judge Carli Kierny announced that the jury had reached a verdict after 90 minutes of deliberation.

In a Los Angeles courtroom Monday (Aug. 31), Keith Jones, a.k.a. OTF Flacka, took the witness stand and testified that he grew frustrated with Lil Durk because Durk never paid him for his involvement in the attempted hit on Quando Rondo at a Los Angeles gas station in August of 2022.
