I will start by saying that I know this does not look great, but I’m still in the testing phase. I had some spray silver that I used on the windows that were on a separate sprue from the building and then used a black paint pen to colour the frame. That’s the windows at the top of the image. For the shop window at the bottom I used a silver paint pen for the glass and then black pen for the frame.

Cosmic Horror Terrain (Late Terrain Challenge)

I have now completed all the modelling and painting and now just need to add foliage to the base. I have drybrushed all internal walls upto a pale blue.
Kali Yuga: The Age of Conflict
I’ve decided to do a test unit instead of just one model. My Hearthguard clubbers make me happy with the way they’ve turned out. The green surprised me with the way the intense highlight worked and how easy the whole process was. Using a wash to filter all the color was a change as well in painting the trousers. I think this might be a process I could use in the future.

Interlude Didn’t feel like hobby today, so I read some Excalibur comics and parts of the Marvel Multiverse RPG books. Maybe tomorrow I will get back to the painting.
Of Epic Proportions (spring clean challenge 26)
Send in the next wave So whilst I’m finishing off the Devestators (just the rhino’s now), I thought it was time to assess the second army. My issue with the guard is the same as the marines that there’s way too much to do mentally assess as a whole. There’s too many random bits, some bits like thud guns and jump packs don’t have rules that fit anymore. So rather than sort through ever, I’m going to start with the bits that are recognisable.
