Saddleback Leather Co. is an established legend in the everyday carry world. The brand began in 2003 selling handmade bags directly on eBay, then grew fast on the back of classic designs and unapologetically tough construction. I remember first writing for Bespoke Unit in 2013, fresh off my first pilot’s license, and staring at photos of these rugged briefcases. It has taken me until 2025 to live with one of their flagships long enough to write a proper review.

Crown Northampton needs no introduction on Bespoke Unit. I have personally reviewed two pairs from them—the rugged Everdon Rambler and the sublime Janus suede desert boots—while my colleague Rafael has lauded the Harlestone Derby sneakers.
