MAGIC OF LADIE M. to Run at Rhino Fest in Chicago
Fat Theatre Project will present Magic of Ladie M., a contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth by LaurA! Force Scruggs, as part of Chicago's Rhino Fest this October. Directed by Rory Jobst, Magic of Ladie M. is set in Washington, D.C. and a magical realm in the near future. Told from Lady Macbeth's point of view, the play reimagines Shakespeare's tragedy within the context of the American government and explores the possibility of a woman becoming president.

SLASHED to Expand With New Solo Fear and Psychic Experiences
Terror Vault will expand its Halloween offerings at the San Francisco Mint this fall with two new experiences presented in conjunction with SLASHED: The Escape Tomb, an extreme solo fear challenge, and The Vault of Visions, featuring a rotating lineup of Bay Area psychics. SLASHED, Terror Vault's new immersive horror experience inspired by the slasher films of the 1980s, will run October 1 through November 1 at the historic San Francisco Mint.
Nancy Mysel Preservation Scholarship Awarded to Hayla Ragland
New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) has announced this year's recipient of the Nancy Mysel Preservation Scholarship, which furthers the organization's support of women's media legacy. Through a generous donation from the Mysel family, the awardee receives $5,000 to support their studies of film and visual art preservation. The grant is named in honor of the late Nancy Mysel.
