New Delhi: YouTube was reportedly offering millions of dollars to select creators in exchange for keeping their videos exclusive to the platform for a specified period, as competition with Netflix for creator-led content intensified, according to a Bloomberg report. The report said the Google-owned platform was holding discussions with popular channels as Netflix increased efforts to bring established YouTube creators and programmes to its streaming service.
Bihar clears up to Rs 1 lakh per video incentive for social media creators
New Delhi: The Bihar Cabinet approved an amendment allowing eligible social media creators to receive up to Rs 1 lakh for individual videos featuring state government schemes and programmes, according to news reports. The amendment to the Bihar Social Media and Other Online Media Rules, 2026, was among 13 proposals cleared at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Wednesday.
