NEW YORK, Sept 29 (Reuters) - CNN, MS NOW and Politico asked a federal judge on Monday to issue a court order preserving their White House access while they fight US President Donald Trump’s move to ban them over coverage he dislikes. • The news outlets asked a judge overseeing their case in Washington, D.C., federal court to grant a preliminary injunction blocking Trump’s bans until there is a final ruling in the case.

After initially cutting at the end of training camp, then signing him to the practice squad, the Minnesota Vikings have now signed quarterback Max Brosmer to the active roster, a source confirmed to the Pioneer Press. This move was widely anticipated after the Vikings traded quarterback J.J. McCarthy to the New York Giants earlier this week. The decision will allow Brosmer to be inactive in games moving forward and still dress as the emergency quarterback.

Former Gov. Kristi Noem has filed for divorce, ending nearly 35 years of marriage with her husband, Bryon. Noem filed in Hamlin County, their home county, on Monday. The complaint cites “irreconcilable differences” as grounds for dissolving the marriage. “In the event the matter proceeds to trial and no settlement agreement is reached, plaintiff reserves the right to amend the complaint to assert additional or alternative fault-based grounds for divorce,” the complaint says.

Two T.F. Riggs seniors have been named semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program, putting Nathaniel McKee and Christian Stanley among thousands of students nationwide to advance in the competition for college scholarships. McKee and Stanley will continue through the remaining stages of the program, with scholarship recipients scheduled to be announced beginning in April.
