Actor Nicolas Cage, along with Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex), Jordi Molla (Mobland), Adrian Topol (Snowflake), and Emilio Sakraya (One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta), is set to headline the upcoming psychological cyber thriller titled C.L.A.Y. Simon Afram is writing and directing the film. While the film is Afram's debut, he is bringing back some of the key cast members of the upcoming World War II espionage film Fortitude, in which he serves as writer and producer.

Popular Kannada TV serial writer M Vidyalakshmi Prahlad has made her debut as a director with a new short film called Ghama, which carries the tagline “Parimalakke Paravasha.” The film is produced by Adarsh Iyengar under the Sri Krishna Productions banner. It was launched in front of well-known guests. Vidyalakshmi, who has written for hit serials like Kulavadhu, Nammane Yuvarani, Premaloka, and Pavitra Bandhana, said the story was inspired by events from her own childhood.

Miami Vice 85 is film adaptation of the television series, Miami Vice, which premiered in 1984. In the upcoming film, Jordan and Butler will portray undercover detectives Ricardo Tubbs and James Crockett, respectively, who gets entangled in the corrupt world of crime in Miami.

Rajinikanth's upcoming action drama Jailer 2, has been announced to release in the Imax formats. Written and directed by Nelson, the upcoming film is set to open in theatres on October 15. Jailer 2 is the latest in the list of Tamil films to get an Imax release. Previously the Soori headlined sports drama, Mandaadi, had an Imax release. Jailer 2 has cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan, who has previously worked on Doctor (2021), Gulu Gulu (2022), Daaku Maharaj (2025) and Jailer (2023).
