Netflix subscribers can once again stream one of the most acclaimed superhero satires ever made. Adapted from Ben Edlund’s comic book series from the 1980s and 1990s, the live-action sitcom first aired on Fox in 2001. The 2001 live-action series The Tick begins streaming on Netflix today, July 8, 2026. Edlund’s cult classic sitcom was available on the streaming platform until its license expired in 2015. Now, the Patrick Warburton-led series is making its return.

Producer Greg Shapiro gave an exciting update on Harold & Kumar 4, teasing the return of its iconic cast. The long-awaited fourth installment will be written and directed by Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald. They have been part of the franchise’s creative team since the first movie, with Hurwitz and Schlossberg also directing 2008’s Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo.

The Television Academy has unveiled the full list of nominees for the 78th Emmy Awards later this year.
