Nick Barton has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer at Indigo Telecom Group, the digital infrastructure services provider whose 3,500-strong global engineering network handles more than 30,000 incidents a year for hyperscalers, subsea cable operators and mobile carriers. Barton comes from Aqua Comms, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer. Before that he held senior positions at Verizon Business and Colt Technology Services.

NAKIVO, the US-based backup and disaster recovery software company, has appointed ICOS as its distribution partner in Italy. ICOS, a value-added distributor headquartered in Bolzano with offices in Ferrara, Verona and Milan, will carry NAKIVO Backup and Replication to IT resellers, system integrators and managed service providers across the country. ICOS brings 30 years of experience in data protection and IT infrastructure, with operations that extend into the Mediterranean and Balkan regions.

Three new integrations released today by Dropbox give the platform’s 700 million users a direct path between their stored files and Anthropic’s Claude, taking aim at a widening frustration: AI tools that operate in disconnected silos, asking users to re-upload content they already have somewhere else. The integrations land in three shapes.

The research, conducted by AI platform company CambrianEdge.ai in partnership with the Cambridge Central Asia Forum, Stanford SEED, and others, puts a number on a pattern many enterprise teams have felt but struggled to quantify. Among organisations with no collaboration infrastructure — no shared tool access, prompt libraries, training, or quality standards — only 32 percent report significant impact from AI.

The initiative combines real network measurement data with topology and building information in a 3D model capable of simulating coverage, capacity, interference, and energy efficiency before any infrastructure change is made in the field. The approach is designed to let network engineers and investment decision-makers assess the technical, operational, and economic consequences of a decision before committing to it.

The updates target manufacturers and distributors who have accumulated data across inventory, purchasing, production, finance, and supply chains but struggle to act on it quickly. Sage Copilot — the company's in-workflow AI assistant — now surfaces insights and flags risks across sales, finance, inventory, and operations, with decisions and approvals remaining with human users.

Oakbrook Finance, founded in 2011, serves near-prime and non-prime borrowers across the UK who fall outside the appetite of mainstream banks. The business has made more than £1.5 billion in loans through three products — Oakbrook Loans, OakbrookAdvance, and OakbrookOne — and currently holds around 140,000 active borrowers.

The agents, branded Forter Prism, are designed to replace manual review cycles in the workflows commerce teams spend the most time on.

The update, announced 24 June 2026, extends Lenovo's inference-focused infrastructure with new platforms built on NVIDIA, Intel, Red Hat, Canonical and Nutanix. A CPU-only variant using Intel Xeon 6 and Red Hat handles up to twice as many AI requests concurrently, targeting workloads where GPU capacity is either too expensive or unavailable. The performance figures Lenovo is leading with are significant.

The State of Digital Trust 2026 report, based on a survey of 11,000 consumers across seven markets conducted by Sapio Research in March 2026, documents a UK market moving from passive concern to active data management. Ninety-two percent of consumers say they have taken steps to protect their personal data online in the past six months. Forty-three percent have rejected cookies on websites. Forty-five percent say they now click 'accept all' less often than three years ago.
