Between 1 and 29 August 2026 the word phishing occurred in 1,388 podcast episodes from 889 shows, in a Particle podcast index of about 87,000 episodes, and the word passwordless occurred in 29 episodes from 28 shows over the same dates (Particle podcast index, August 2026). That is 48 times as many episodes for phishing as for passwordless, 1,388 divided by 29 being 47.9 (CTC calculation from Particle podcast index, August 2026). That count, for an IT director, is the wrong way round.

A mainframe is one large computer that runs an organisation's transaction and batch work under a single operating system. It shares its processors, memory and input and output channels among many jobs at once. Between 1 and 29 August 2026, Compare the Cloud's Particle podcast index found the word mainframe in 663 podcast episodes and the exact phrase legacy migration in 1 (Particle podcast index, August 2026).

On 27 September 2026 two counts landed at Compare the Cloud's articles desk, the results of exact-phrase searches run for it against Particle's podcast index for 1 to 29 August 2026 . The phrase "quantum computing" had been said in 1,137 episodes across 704 distinct shows , and "post-quantum" in 231 episodes across 184 shows, in an index of about 87,000 episodes for those 29 days . Dividing 1,137 by 231 gives 4.9 . Compare the Cloud calls that backwards.
