Creative Pinellas and Lealman Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) are proud to announce the selection of six artists for their annual partnership of art supporting community beauty, safety, and identity. In December, calls to artists went out to submit their work for projects throughout Lealman. They were for 5 traffic control signal boxes that will be wrapped with artists’ original designs and an approximately 900 square-foot mural on an exterior wall.

We are reimagining how our work can best support economic well-being and community well-being, and have a few new initiatives in the development stages for both of these focus areas. We’re very excited to share more, so please stay tuned. In the meantime, as we diligently work on the blueprint for our next chapter, we want to address some of the top questions about our future: 1. Is Creative Pinellas closing? Creative Pinellas is not shutting down, or dissolving.

Pinellas County Tax Collector follows up on their successful 2024 mural partnership with Creative Pinellas to install a new, four-panel mural in 2025 for the benefit of their visitors at the 34th Street location. Jason Harvin of Wayward Walls & Interiors captured the spirit of St. Pete in his masterful work, featuring iconic imagery of the St. Pete Pier and the city’s beloved pelicans.
