The New SilverMoon Finish of Platek’s Thaïs Brass Lamp
Thaïs is a portable outdoor lamp designed by Marcello Ziliani for Platek, the Italian outdoor lighting company. The lamp, very slim throughout, was first presented at Euroluce, during Milan Design Week 2025, in a brass colour. Now, the brand presents it in SurfShield, a new surface finish in a colour named SilverMoon that gives its solid brass a cooler tone.

adidas Basketball has introduced the BB.01, the first performance basketball shoe to come out of Project: R.A.P. (Radical Athlete Perception), an innovation programme set up to make footwear that can be tailored to an individual athlete and the demands of a specific sport. The shoe is made through additive manufacturing (the industrial name for 3D printing), in which material is built up layer by layer.
