Dan Tehan MP
Online/Digital
Dan grew up on a family farm in rural Victoria, with his three brothers and two sisters. His father ran Merino sheep and Hereford cattle while his mother started her own small business in a nearby town to earn off-farm income.
From an early age, Dan’s parents and grandparents taught him that people in rural communities deserve a fair go and that you need to be prepared to stand up and fight for what you believe in.
Dan’s mother represented rural Victoria in our State Parliament, his father was actively involved in the Victorian Farmers Federation, and his grandfather helped form the National Farmers’ Federation. Source

Chris Bowen must resign over Snowy Hydro 2.0 budget blowout
Statement In February this year, Energy Minister Chris Bowen declared that Snowy 2.0 was “back on track.” But the release this evening of Snowy Hydro Ltd’s overdue cost reassessment shows that this project has blown out to a staggering $25 billion under Chris Bowen. If a CEO oversaw such maladministration, a board would have no choice but to sack them. Chris Bowen should apologise to Australian taxpayers for this enormous cost blowout and resign.
