The Stuttgart Public Library is excited to announce the return of FAMILY CRAFT TIME. This weekly after-school program returns Wednesday, September 2nd at 3:30 p.m. The program will run every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Families are invited to enjoy an after-school snack while creating a fun and easy craft. The program is free and open to children of all ages and their families. Each week will feature a fun new craft. Materials and snacks are provided. No registration is required.

The Stuttgart City Council met August 18 with a short agenda. The first item was about a street closure for the New Edition Day to be celebrated September 6 from 2 pm until 7 pm/ The streets involved were E. Anderson and N. Rose, N. Vine and N. Rose, E. Lincoln. The request said N. Vine would remain open in case of emergencies. The closure was approved. Discussion was made to discuss at a later date setting some parameters on street closures for private events.

Narrative - Cavette, Marc - 8/15/2026 12:13:10 PM (Initial) I (Officer Cavette) on August 15th, at approximately 11:30 a.m. arrived at the police department and before exiting the vehicle I noticed a bystander knocking on the entrance to the police department. I then approached her and asked if needed help. She was carrying two backpacks and a plastic bag filled with clothes. She responded, saying she needed to press charges on someone.

Previous Next The DeWitt Athletic Booster Club (DABC) hosted their annual Meet The Dragons dinner and membership drive at the Arkansas County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall on Friday, August 14th. The dinner was catered by Jason Adams and Adams Catfish, serving fish, shrimp, chicken strips, fries, hushpuppies, baked beans, and all the trimmings. The emcee for the night was Booster Club member, JD Miller, who welcomed everyone and thanked them for their attendance and support.
