You know, I have always marvelled at how many people view our Facebook page and our website, but this week it really hit home. When the mail came this week there was a letter in it from an Ed Case, of Louisiana. Mr. Case is an older gentleman who served in the Vietnam War. He had been searching on the internet with a list of names of others he had served with. He came across an article I did recently about Wade Hobbs being honored at Rotary with a Quilt from Quilts of Valor.

Finken. The unveiling was held recently with the brother of the woman who commissioned the painting, and grandsons present. Also present was Ed’s daughter, Brenda Linsmeier.

Leslie Boone Speaks on Victims Rights Previous Next The Stuttgart Rotary Club met recently and heard from Leslie Boone of Victim’s Rights Arkansas. Boone talked about how the Justice System is not always friendly to victim’s, nor do we have a Victim’s Bill of Rights as other states do. They have statutory rights but not constitutional rights. Act 873 of the 2015 session created Laura’s Card, which is a card that is given out by law enforcement in a domestic violence situation.
