The FAZ president steps aside after chairing the committee for a year.

“When hubby took me to Chainama, doctors said his cheating caused my depression”
A 35-YEAR-OLD woman of Chongwe has divorced her husband of 21 years after he took her to Chainama Mental Hospital, claiming she was mentally ill, only for doctors to determine that her depression was linked to the distress caused by his girlfriend. Mary Taimo, 35, said her husband, Aaron Mubamba, 40, told her that his parents had forced him to marry her and that he wanted to marry another woman who was more beautiful than her.

A 40-YEAR-OLD man of Ndola’s Mushili-Kansengu area has asked the Kabushi Local Court to dissolve his marriage to his 30-year-old wife, stating that she is a heavy drinker who has neglected their children. Mukuka Mutale told the court that he was fed up with Jane Mulenga’s drinking habits and wanted their marriage to end. But Mulenga pleaded with the court not to grant the divorce, saying she still loved her husband and was willing to stop drinking to save their marriage.

A 27-YEAR-OLD woman has told the Kabushi Local Court that she became jealous after her landlady started calling her husband into her house in the evenings and advising him to chase her from their matrimonial home. Alice Kanyakila of Kaloko told the court that the landlady would call her husband, Owen Nkhoma, 33, into her house around 19:00 hours and he would sometimes return around 21:00 hours.
Lsk man refuses to reconcile with violent, jealous wife, begs court to end marriage
“HE says I’m violent, but I’m not. It’s jealousy that makes me act the way I do because I can’t stand seeing my husband with another woman,” a woman of Mtendere East told the court. Serah Chilomo, 26, said this in a matter in which her husband, Mubita Nalute, 29, a businessman of Mtendere East, took her to court seeking a divorce, claiming that she was violent and disrespectful.
UAE investors sign MoU to invest $140M in Sekute Free Zone
A TOTAL of $140 million has been committed by UAE investors for investment into the Sekute Free Zone in Kazungula District, Chief Sekute has disclosed. In an interview with News Diggers!, Chief Sekute disclosed said he will spend a few more days in Abu Dhabi, following the Zambia-UAE Business Forum attended by President Hakainde Hichilema, engaging with other potential investors.

Zambia may qualify for loans next year – World Bank Original
THE World Bank says Zambia may revert to World Bank loans next year, depending on its macro-economic performance. Zambia officially defaulted on its external debt on November 13, 2020, when it missed a $42.5 million coupon payment on its Eurobond. When Zambia defaulted on its external debt, the World Bank resorted to giving the country grants, other than loans.
