After extensive closures in 2020 and 2021 shuttered all but a few Disney Store Outlet locations and the flagship in New York City, it seemed like that might be all for Disney Store in the United States. But in April, it was announced that the same company that rebooted standalone Toys “R” Us locations was now planning to open Disney Store Limited Time.

Germany’s chain of stores selling Disney product has a third location. “The House” is a new chain of stores selling Disney products, owned by reality TV star Sam Dylan. His third location is in the Westfield Centro Oberhausen shopping centre attracted lineups of easily hundreds of people, based on news photos. The mall apparently queued the public through the back utility corridors, to keep the rest of the building passable. Some arrived at 6 am for the noon opening.

(Intriguingly, it looks like all the remaining store’s Instagram accounts have been either deleted or hidden. Only closed stores and the official account remain on the social media site.) Barrie: The Ontario city used to have two stores, but the other location closed in 2025.

Disney Cruise Line fans visiting Alaska will be glad to hear that Disney has signed a new 15-year agreement with the Huna Totem Corporation to secure preferential access at Icy Strait Point, which means that Disney Cruise Line guests will continue to enjoy visiting the Indigenous-owned destination through at least 2041. Situated on the shores of Hoonah, Icy Strait Point offers visitors an authentic connection to Huna Tlingit culture alongside world-class wildlife viewing and outdoor recreation.

Amid the financial failings of Toys “R” Us Canada, a separate company from its American counterpart, three more locations of the store have recently closed. The locations at Brampton, Kingston, and Vaughan Mills have all closed in the last few days, with more closures on the horizon. Brampton opened in 1984, slightly later in the same morning that Canada’s first location in Thornhill opened. The lead picture for this article is the Brampton location just two weeks before closing.
