SkyeChip was formed in 2019 after a trade delegation from Malaysia to China was met with questions about what technology could be offered by the country to China, at a time when trade limitations stemming from US policy were beginning to bite.

Intel Corporation plans to spin off Network and Edge business
Intel is moving to separate its Network and Edge Group (NEX) into a standalone business and is looking for outside investors to help fund the transition. The news was shared in a memo sent to customers by Sachin Katti, who leads the NEX division and also serves as Intel’s chief technology and AI officer.
