That assessment comes from ESPN’s Pete Thamel, who broke the news of the amended complaint and reported the SEC has no real intention of removing LSU from the league, even as it presses to establish the legal right to do so.

Lafayette Fire Department Rescue Man Trapped in Storm Drain
(Lafayette, Louisiana) - The Lafayette Fire Department posted on social media that it rescued a man Tuesday afternoon from a storm drain. Photos on their social media page show a man climbing out of the storm drain after firefighters lowered a ladder into it. According to their Facebook post, LFD, along with other emergency personnel, responded to a call Tuesday afternoon in the 100 block of W. Pont Des Mouton Rd. Someone reportedly saw a flag coming from the drain and notified authorities.
