(KMDL-FM) Grocery retailers across the United States, the Gulf South, and Louisiana are all battling inflation, changes in consumer spending habits, and growing competition to provide us with a place to "make" groceries. The Brookshire Grocery Company, which operates stores under the Super 1 Foods moniker, is facing the same struggles across its 200-plus-store footprint. As a result, the company will shutter four stores in the coming weeks.

Smithsonian Picked 250 American Landmarks And Louisiana Only Made The Cut Twice

(KMDL-FM) Despite the lackluster attendance at our nation's official birthday party in Washington DC over July 4th, the celebration of America's 250th Birthday is still going strong.
